The 42m motor yacht can carry up to 19 passengers in its eight cabins, as well as five crew members, and has a top speed of 24 knots.
It sails under the flag of the Marshall Islands but was built by NQEA Yachts in Australia in 2004.

With 42000 litres of fuel, the Flying Manta has a maximum range of 4000 nautical miles at ten knots, while its fresh water tanks store approximately 6000 litres of fresh water.
