As every three years, since the end of the XVIIIth century, on Whit Mondays, Saint Florent is adorned with flowers and with shield to honor saint Flor, Patron saint of the region of Nebbiu.

It is to procession that the numerous believers of saint Florent and the surrounding parishes made of the Church saint-Anne to the Holy Cathedral Marie decorated with flowers with the biggest care by the volunteers who had also installed and decorated with flowers arcs and the Hunting of saint Flor.
The important event of this event was the presence of Lord Olivier de Germay, Bishop de Corse who made the great honor to the believers to celebrate the mass in a crowded cathedral.
After the mass, Saint-Flor leaves the cathedral in music, the soldiers of the old guard of Napoleon 1 precede the brotherhood Santa Croce in the sound of their drums, trumpets and saxophones. The walking is quasi-military, the Hunting of saint Martyr is carried arm of men by the Saint-Florentins follow-up by a large crowd.
The saint is carried up to the Holy church Anne where the believers were able to carry him worship throughout the day.
Near the village square, the fair is going full swing, families come from all the region to attend the event, amuse on merry-go-rounds in the sound of the drums of the soldiers of the old guard of Napoleon 1, while waiting for the return of saint Flor.
At 6 pm, inhabitants and tourists invade then the streets of the village to attend the second procession the plan of which is marked out by colored banners, and take back saint Flor in the Cathedral where it bases for three years. The column stops regularly to leave the time to the carriers to change shoulder and to the curious onlookers to take uncountable photos and videos.
More than a religious tradition, Saint-Flor is a cultural event very important for the inhabitants, the believers or not, old or young, all honor the saint with the same fervour.
