This Monday, 12 June 2023, the crew of the Saint-Florent sea rescue station was invited to the town hall to receive a well-deserved award!
In the presence of the Mayor, his deputies, the port director, and Mr. Jean-Pierre Cabut, deputy delegate for Corsica of the national association of holders of the Recognition of the Nation title; ;The Deputy Prefect of Calvi, Yoann Toubhans, presented the «Civic Duty and Dedication» Gold Palm Medal, for acts of rescue, dedication, and civic duty during the storms of 18 and 19 August 2022, to the volunteers of the SNSM of Saint-Florent.
We thank them for being present throughout the year to carry out numerous rescue missions.
