Over 70 participants were present in Saint-Florent for the training aimed at elected officials and coastal municipalities involved in the ORSEC PolMar-Terre scheme, organised by CEDRE (Centre for documentation, research and experimentation on accidental water pollution).

These three days of training, also intended for agents and managers of the various departments likely to intervene in the event of maritime pollution on the coast of Corsica, aim to:

• the specific Polmar-Terre arrangement of the ORSEC system
• the roles and responsibilities of the state and local authorities in this organisation
• the implementation of the «accidental water pollution» component»
• strategies and fighting equipment
• the organisation of a building site.
