This decision follows the indefinite cessation of activity of the last company authorised to access the channel and dock at the pontoon. In the absence of use related to this activity, and considering the management and maintenance costs of this equipment, as well as the risks associated with unauthorised uses and occupations, it has been decided to put this installation on standby.

Interventions are being carried out to remove the pontoon decking and the access channel.

 

As a result, the pontoon is no longer functional. Accessing, walking on, or mooring to it is strictly forbidden.

The Conservatoire du littoral, the Collectivité de Corse, and the Commune of Saint-Florent accept no responsibility for accidents.
