The Saint-Florent’s harbour is about to organise fish nurseries in the harbour, as part of the Biohut® project.
Quays, dykes and others coastal arrangement become real refuge for a lot of aquatic species.
The method aims at restoring the ecosystemic service of nursery, guaranteeing the protection of new recruits from predation, so that they can reach the “refuge size” to contribute efficiently to the increase of adult populations.
