Completely renovated in 2016 with an investment of 930 000 € H.T., the resort is brand new and can accommodate units up to 40m with 60m total dock. It is at the entrance to the port of Saint-Florent.
The fueling station of the port of Saint-Florent is under public service delegation and is managed by a private provider, the company ORSINI.
Improvements made
- The dock has been raised to facilitate moorings, all tanks and piping have been changed and the storage volume has been increased, the station now has 3 days of autonomy with a storage capacity of 140,000 L.
- The tanks are equipped with a water detection system with an alert, no risk of finding water in the fuel, they are also double hulls as the piping for more security.
- Access to the station is also secure with the establishment of a security barrier.
- For the safety of people, fire extinguishers were put in place and reels were placed on all the pipes of the pumps to avoid accidents.
- The station is also up to the latest environmental standards, as the refueling station (like the port) has an anti-pollution dam that can be deployed quickly in case of proven pollution as well as absorbent sheets in case of small pollution.
- The number of distributors has been increased, we find today:
- 4 gasoline distributors, 1 under customs duty = zero-rated
- 6 distributors with diesel fuel, 2 under customs = zero-rated
- The flow of the pumps has been multiplied by 2, they can debit 200L / minute.
Schedules and services
The station is open in the high season from 8am to 8pm non stop, 3 employees (+ the manager of the station Mr. ORSINI) take turns throughout the season to bring the best services to boaters.
If there are special requests for large quantities, the supply is made in 24h and it is possible to make an appointment directly with the staff of the station at (+33) 07 60 04 00 53.
It remains open all year, before and after season it is open at the same hours as the captaincy and then in low season just call 07 60 04 00 53 to make an appointment.
Network «ANAPNEA»
The Saint-Florent refueling station is part of the „ANAPNEA“ network, 
only 3 stations in Corsica are part of this network.
„ANAPNEA“ is a biological additive that reduces the consumption of diesel engines and avoids having water in the bottom of the tanks.
This additive standardizes the quality of the gas oil throughout the height of the tank and avoids having bacteria in the filters.
Review of the renovation
Thanks to the renovations, the resort has been able to respond to the increasing number of recreational boaters in the harbor, both for annual and seasonal boating.
In season, the volume consumed amounts to about 40 000L per day.
The returns were positive in particular with the raising of the dock which facilitates access and avoids submersions in case of strong swell.
